With an enquiring mind Nadine Arrieta has accumulated her knowledge and developed her style of thought through extensive travel. She lived in a number of European countries as a child and after her formal studies she traveled further to remote and exotic places working as a teacher to support her painting.
Since her arrival in New Zealand she has been able to consolidate her career and establish herself as a fine artist.
She continues her studies informally through group studies drawing workshop and printmaking at the Artstation in Auckland.
Her subject matter is directly related to her response to her environment with issues concerning the survival of psyche through time and the existence of philosophical parallel worlds. As a contemporary artist she relishes the idea of
future projects culminating existing interests with new media in technology allowing new platforms of expression and presentation.
